Financial Administrator Wanted at Partille Municipality

The Finance Unit in Partille Municipality is now looking for a driven and structured financial administrator.

You will be part of a team responsible for the municipality's overall processes for accounts receivable and accounts payable, the municipality's incoming and outgoing payments, VAT reporting, and other administrative financial processes.

Initially, your main tasks will involve managing the municipality's accounts receivable. The assignment also includes some system management of the business system for customer invoices. We would like to support each other within the team, and therefore other tasks will also become relevant. With this, you will have the opportunity to influence work methods and arrangements based on what you and the team agree upon. In our daily work, we help and support each other to reduce vulnerability and build our competence, which makes the job much more enjoyable!

The tasks may change over time based on the municipality's or the business's needs.

Qualifications

You have an education in finance, accounting, or equivalent knowledge/experience that the employer assesses as equivalent. You also possess good computer and system skills as well as a natural digital working method.

It is an advantage if you have worked in a similar role before and understand the meaning of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and processes related to these areas of responsibility. It is also advantageous if you have experience with the systems VISMA, EdP Future, and Proceedo.

As a person, you are structured and take great responsibility for your tasks and drive the processes forward. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively and set and adhere to deadlines. In your daily work, you will have many contacts both internally and externally. Therefore, we want you to be social and interact with managers, customers, and colleagues in a pleasant and professional manner. We believe you have a high service mindset and that you communicate fluently, both verbally and in writing, in Swedish. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Your New Workplace

The Finance Unit belongs to the municipality's finance department, which also includes the purchasing and procurement unit. The finance department is part of the municipal executive administration, which reports directly to the municipal council. The Finance Unit currently consists of three financial administrators, nine economists, and one system controller. One of our financial administrators is leaving, which is why we are now looking for a replacement.
